Shop Boots on a Budget

Can we talk about how amazing all the after Christmas sales are?! I’m thinking about celebrating Christmas a few days after the “real” Christmas just to get all of the deals on my gifts. I didn’t buy much for myself this year, but I was on the hunt for new boots, and new boots I got. You guys, can you believe I got 2 pairs of boots for $43?

I highly suggest waiting to get your boots or anything winter related after Christmas or New Years day because stores start putting all their winter stuff on sale to make room for their spring inventory as soon as the new year comes around. I’m sure most of you know this, but just in case you didn’t you can save yourself some money for next winter.

I went to Shoe Carnival with pretty low expectations, but they surprised me with their selection. I did go look at a few other places too like, Marshalls and Bealls but ended up coming back to Shoe Carnival because they had the best options. At Shoe Carnival if you buy 2 pairs you get the cheaper pair half off, so for a pair of boots that was already on sale for $20 I ended up only paying $10. I was over the moon about the deal because these boots are both staple pieces and I know I definitely got a bang for my buck.

Overall, I got a pair of black booties and tan ones too. The black booties are not as good quality at the brown/tan ones, my main complaint is that they get scuffed really easily and dirty too because they are black but I can’t complain much when they were only $10. The brown ones are definitely higher quality, and were on sale for $30, overall, I am a happy camper. If you haven’t checked out Shoe Carnivals website you definitely should before all the good deals are gone!
